My life has become meaningless! My megavideo no longer works, and I just don’t see the point in living anymore! Juuust kidding. But it actually doesn’t work, and I don’t know why. It’s making for extremely boring afternoons while Mae sleeps. It’ll let me click play, then it says its buffering for ages, then it pops us saying that there was loading the URL address. And this has only been in the last week that it’s doing this. And its not just one type of show, its all my mega video’s that I try to play. I’ve started watching some stuff off of Rich’s computer on the weekends while he’s at football training, but it always ends in a conversation like this later on:
Rich: Were you watching mega video on my computer today?
Me: …. yyyyes.
Rich: Why?
Me: …cause mines not working?Why?
Rich: Cause now I can’t watch my show cause you watched 72 minutes already!
Me: Whoops? =)
So if anyone knows how to fix this problem, I would probably love you forever!

Wow, that last post took a long time to put up! I’d had most of it written on Monday, but I just never got around to finishing it off and posting it! But there it is =)
After that very drunken weekend, I’ve had a fantastic week. Like I was saying earlier, my sister is over here from Canada. She got in on Sunday, a week ago, and she leaves tomorrow to do some WWOOFing! For all you who have no idea what that is, it’s basically a volunteering thing where you go and work on organic farms around the world. Pretty neat, I think. She’s pretty excited for it, and she’ll be only about an hour or so away from where I am, which’ll be nice, cause she’s right on the west coast, and I’d love to go out and visit. So I will! At some point haha.
Anyways, we got to mine Sunday night, and she was pretty tired from all the traveling and jet lag, so we didn’t do anything but go to bed. Monday I got up and worked for part of the morning until the evening, and lounged around Monday night. Tuesday was again working for part of the morning till the evening, and we went into town to do some errands and such. Tuesday night I had to babysit, so we attempted to make Roman blinds for my new flat, but couldn’t actually figure out how to use the sewing machine =P So we watched a Discovery Channel show about polar bears instead!
Wednesday we got up, packed a lunch, and drove up to the Uffington White Horse.

Not that we got there right away, that is. We got lost, but found a really amazing little village that we drove through that was just so quintessentially English, it was amazing. But we did finally get there, and we were some of the only people there. It wasn’t too cold, but it was cloudy, and because you’re on a hill, the wind was pretty freezing. But we bundled up in toques and mitts and vests and were fine! We also went to Waylands Smitty, which is a burial site from thousands of years ago, which was also pretty neat.
After that we headed into Oxford for the night, and Thursday morning we got up, and me, Megan, Rich and our friend Laura piled into the car to go explore the Cotswalds, which is an area in England. We ended up in a town called Bourton-on-the-Water, which has a river running through the center of it, and is sooo pretty. We explored there, saw a model village, took pictures, found a pub to eat lunch at, and then got back in the car and headed back to Oxford. Dropped Rich and Laura off, and then drove back to mine for the night
Friday I had to work again, and my car was in getting serviced, so we were stuck around the house all day. We started to go for a walk, and it started to pour and hail on us, so we ran back to the house and spent the afternoon outside. After we picked Theo up from school, we stopped by the dairy and watched the cows being milked and talked to Hue, the guy that runs it all. That was pretty cool! Didn’t do much in the afternoon, and then drove back into Oxford for the evening/night. Me, Meg and Rich watched a movie, Funny People, which isn’t as good as it looks in the previews =( And then headed off to bed, only to be woken by a very drunken Laura at about 3 am =P Had a good lie in though, got up and Rich went to football training, and Megan and I took the bus into town to do some shopping and run some errands.
When Rich got home from training, I got to doctor him up! He’s pulled a muscle in his leg, and instead of taking care of it, he just keeps playing. Typical boy thinking XD So he came home limping and got into bed, and I got ice to put on it (which was actually a bag of frozen peas) and helped stretch it out, then we both ended up falling asleep. When we awoke, there were peas all over the bed! Neither of us had realized that they had been open. Whoops. We eventually got up and went to be social with everyone else in the sitting room, and we all ended up watching TV till our hunger forced us up, and then we put some pizza’s in the oven. I had to be back Saturday night to babysit, and all of a sudden I looked at the clock and was like, shiiit, we gotta go, we have to be back on 30 min! So Megan and I rushed about getting our stuff together, and as we were walking out the door Rich handed up a plate full of pizza for the drive cause he’s a sweetie =) So then we left, stopped to get petrol, and were on our way. We were only about 15 minutes late, and it ended up being fine, cause they weren’t even ready to go anyways!
Both of us were fairly tired, so we called Mom, talked for a bit, had showers and then went to bed. Got up this morning and watched tennis (boooo Federer!) and then had some breakfast at lunch time, and now we are about to leave to go do some errands and go to Waddston for the afternoon, and then Megan leaves tomorrow morning. So good week! Here’s some pictures:

Hidey-ho, lets go!
I’m not sure why I just wrote that. I’m fairly certain that it’s from somewhere, like a show or something, but I can’t figure out from where, and I can’t get it out of my head. Oh well. Anyone know where it’s from? Or maybe I’m just crazy and it’s not actually from anywhere =S
Anyways! What a crazy weekend. I worked Friday night, and when I was done I drove into Oxford for the night. Didn’t get there until about 1 in the morning, which was a little lame, but it was okay cause it meant I got to crawl into a very warm bed as Rich was already asleep =) Got a lie in for the first time in ages, and I don’t think I even woke up till close till 10. Rich had to get up to go to football, but he very sweetly brought me toast so that I didn’t have to get up myself! I did repay him by driving him to football though, which he was very grateful for. While he was at football training, a girlfriend of mine, Kim, came into Oxford from London. I picked her up, we went and had lunch, then we picked Rich up from training, and then Kim and I, along with another girlfriend, Pavlina, took the bus into Oxford for some shopping! Girly chat did ensue!
We got back to the house and made some supper, and started to drink. Du du dummm. And kept drinking. Then got ready to go out. Whilst drinking. So when 11 o’clock rolled around and our taxi came, we were all pretty drunk. We did have a very lovely time getting ready though. I’ve missed that part of having girlfriends; just having girly chats and doing hair and makeup and peeing with the door open =P
Anyways! I really need to stop staring paragraphs like that 8-) But we got the taxi to the club, got in, danced, flirted, drank some more; basically everything that goes on in a club =P
Side note: I have the coolest friends and boyfriend. So I was sitting with Rich at one of the booth things that line the walls, and he had to go to the toilet, so I said I’d wait there for him. While he was gone, these 2 guys came up to me and sat on either side and started talking to me. We’re sitting there chatting, and all of a sudden Rich comes up, sits on my lap, kisses me, then gets up and walks away. So these guys go, ’soooo, I take it that’s your boyfriend?’ And I was like ‘hah, yeaaaa’. And they were like, ‘well, we should go then,’ but I told them to stay, I was having a good time chatting with them. So they stay, and we talk some more, and then Kimberly comes up, sits on my lap, kisses me, then gets up and walks away. So then these guys go, ’sooo…… ????’ And i was like. ‘yeaa, thats Kimberly. She’s Canadian too!’ Cause apparently that explains it all! So then they go, ‘right, well, we’re going to go then!’, and stand up and start to walk away. But then James (who is a friend who came out with us as well) walks up, and apparently knows one of them! So they talk, and James goes, ‘yea, I’m with her’, and points to me, and at that point the guys go ‘oh, yea. right. well. we were just leaving!’ and then buggered off! Which was kind of offensive at the time, but now I find it extremely funny.
Anyways, eventually get back to Rich’s, go to bed, and wake up with the worst hang over of my life. My sister was getting in from Canada at about 9 am on Sunday, and I was took hungover to go and pick her up, hah, so I sent Rich. It wasn’t till about 1pm or so that i could even get out of bed =P Basically we all just lazed around watching tv and napping all afternoon, then Rich, Megan and I went out for something to eat, which perked all of us up. We went back to Rich’s for a bit, then Megan and I headed back to mine for the night.
